Modern Plant Life started as a way to share plant photos, to document Founder Ngoc's own plant journey and to share what she was learning about plants. She's always loved DIYing (and was once an aspiring but not very successful DIY Youtuber) and making things with materials she had around my house. She started making hangers and simple concrete planters for her plants which lead to Modern Plant Life becoming a business when friends started asking if they could buy these products for their home.

The Emporium is a local lifestyle brand dedicated to the celebration of a life well lived.

Founder Karen Ferguson is a self-confessed design gypsy and Renaissance woman who has always flirted with the world of art, fashion and design in one way or another. However, it was only after living and working in The Bahamas and Paris that she was truly inspired to follow her passion and create The Emporium. All the Emporium’s products whether local or international have the same things in common, quality, fine craftsmanship and a unique style. Our goal is to create and share some of the best and most exciting local and international brands with you. We hope you enjoy shopping the collections as much as we’ve enjoyed creating and curating them for you.
